Virginia High School Baseball - Amherst County wallops Liberty

May 20, 2025: Bedford, VA 24523

The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA) and the host Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA), saw Amherst County's baseball team gain a win over Liberty by a tally of 20-3.

The Lancers (9-11) will now prepare for their battle against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Cavaliers enter the Seminole battle with a 18-2 record. In their last battle, Jefferson Forest was overwhelmed by Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA), 9-6, in a league battle.

Next, the Minutemen face the Rustburg Red Devils (Rustburg, VA) in a Seminole battle, on Friday, May 23. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record. The Red Devils enter the battle with a 9-9 record after their 11-1 league loss to Glass (Lynchburg, VA).
