The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) and the host George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME), saw Mattanawcook's baseball team gain a win over George Stevens Academy by a tally of 9-0.
The Lynx (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Dexter (Dexter, ME). The Tigers enter the Class C North battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Dexter prevailed over Searsport (Searsport, ME), 17-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Eagles face the Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) in a Class C North battle, on Tuesday, April 29. George Stevens Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 10-4 league loss to Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME).
