Massachusetts High School Baseball - Malden Catholic loses to Newton South

Newton South Lions (Newton, MA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Malden Catholic Lancers (Malden, MA), 11-4 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Newton South advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Boston Latin (Boston, MA) to battle the Wolfpack in a Dual County match on Monday, April 28. The Wolfpack come into the match with a record of 3-6.
The Lancers now have a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Xaverian Brothers for a Catholic match on Monday, April 28. Malden Catholic will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Plymouth North (Plymouth, MA). The Hawks record now stands at 9-2.
