The Placer Hillmen volleyball team (Auburn, CA), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA)

The Bruins (21-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA). The Broncos enter the non-league challenge with a 12-16 record. In their last challenge, Bella Vista was dropped by Roseville (Roseville, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Hillmen meet the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) in a Foothill Valley challenge, on Thursday, April 28. Placer will attempt to move on its 5-18 season record. The Miners enter the challenge with a 25-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Antelope (Antelope, CA).
