The Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) soccer bounced the host Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC), 5-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
With the victory, Union Pines moves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Vikings travel to Cleveland (Clayton, NC) to battle the Rams in a non-league bout on Thursday, April 28. The Rams enter the bout with a record of 14-2. Cleveland won 6-1 in their recent league bout against Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC)
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) in a Sandhills 3A/4A bout, on Friday, April 29. Richmond will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the bout with a 9-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC).
