The Chincoteague Ponies softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Arcadia Firebirds to 4 in the Ponies league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Chincoteague moves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Ponies travel to Nandua (Onley, VA) to clash with the Warriors in a Eastern Shore game on Thursday, April 28. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 7-3. Nandua won 11-8 in their recent non-league game against Broadwater Academy (Exmore, VA)

In their next game, the Firebirds clash with the Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA) in a Eastern Shore game, on Thursday, April 28. Arcadia will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a 7-3 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA).
