The Chincoteague Ponies softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Arcadia Firebirds to 0 in the Ponies league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Chincoteague moves its record to 10-0 on the year. The Ponies host Nandua (Onley, VA) to clash with the Warriors in a Eastern Shore game on Tuesday, May 10. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 9-4.
In their next game, the Firebirds clash with the Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 9. Arcadia will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record.
