The Old Town Coyotes softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Mount Desert Island Trojans to 0 in the Coyotes league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Old Town moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Coyotes host Bangor (Bangor, ME) to play the Rams in a non-league game on Thursday, April 28. The Rams come into the game with a record of 2-1. Bangor lost 6-1 in their recent league game against Hampden (Hampden, ME)

In their next game, the Trojans play the Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) in a Class B North game, on Friday, April 29. Mount Desert Island will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Ponies come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Central (East Corinth, ME).
