In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting New Bern Bears softball team scored a nice 24-3 win over the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs.

Coming up next, the Bears battle the East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, April 27. New Bern will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Mariners enter the outing with a 15-3 record after their 13-2 league win over Jones (Trenton, NC).
