California High School Softball - Piner knocked off by St. Vincent de Paul

In Tuesday's league contest, the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs (Petaluma, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA), by a margin of 12-4.

With the triumph, St. Vincent de Paul moves its record to 13-5 on the year. The Mustangs host Healdsburg (Healdsburg, CA) to play the Greyhounds in a North Bay - Redwood contest on Thursday, April 28. The Greyhounds come into the contest with a record of 5-9. Healdsburg won 18-7 in their recent league contest against Elsie Allen (Santa Rosa, CA)

In their next game, the Prospectors play the Ukiah Wildcats (Ukiah, CA) in a North Bay - Redwood contest, on Thursday, April 28. Piner will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 11-6 record after their 14-7 league win over Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, CA).
