Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL), 20-5 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host St. Edward for a Metro Suburban challenge on Thursday, April 28. Riverside-Brookfield will face a Green Wave squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Green Wave record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Ridgewood falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Rebels host Jones (Chicago, IL) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 28. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 6-8. Jones won 12-0 in their recent non-league match against Bulls College Prep (Chicago, IL)
