In Wednesday's league contest, the Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ) softball team overwhelmed the host Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ), by a margin of 16-1.

With the triumph, Ridgewood moves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Maroons travel to Glen Rock (Glen Rock, NJ) to play the Panthers in a non-league contest on Friday, April 28. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 4-1.
