North Carolina High School Softball - North Gaston loses to Crest

The Crest Chargers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting North Gaston Wildcats to 1 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Crest improves its record to 14-3 on the year. The Chargers host Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC) to clash with the Greenwave in a Big South 3A game on Tuesday, April 30. The Greenwave come into the game with a record of 3-14.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a Big South 3A game, on Tuesday, April 30. North Gaston will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Jaguars come into the game with a 12-6 record after their 16-0 league win over Huss (Gastonia, NC).
