The Southwest EC Eagles (El Centro, CA) softball routed the visiting Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets (Blythe, CA), 8-3 in Friday's league bout.

The Eagles (7-10) will now prepare for their bout against Central (El Centro, CA). The Spartans go into the Desert bout with a 5-14 record.

The Yellow Jackets now possess a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Calipatria for a Desert bout on Tuesday, April 30.
