New Mexico High School Baseball - Sandia wallops Capital

The Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) baseball trounced the visiting Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM), 26-8 in Saturday's league challenge.
The Matadors now own a 18-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eldorado for a 5A District 2 challenge on Monday, April 28. Sandia will clash with a Golden Eagles team coming off a 10-0 league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 14-7.
With the defeat, Capital drops to 12-10 on the year. The Jaguars travel to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Bears in a 5A District 2 challenge on Monday, April 28. The Bears go into the challenge with a record of 19-3. La Cueva won 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM)
