In Wednesday's league challenge, the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) baseball squad edged the visiting Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC), by a final score of 2-1.

With the win, Gray's Creek upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Bears travel to Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC) to battle the Colts in a United Eight 3A/4A challenge on Friday, April 29. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Cape Fear lost 2-1 in their recent league challenge against South View (Hope Mills, NC)
