New York High School Baseball - Peekskill loses to Mount Vernon

The Mount Vernon Knights baseball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Peekskill Red Devils to 8 in the Knights league victory on Wednesday.
The Knights (5-8) will now prepare for their match against Woodlands (Hartsdale, NY). The Falcons go into the Section 1 Conference 3 - D match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Woodlands was overwhelmed by Bronxville (Bronxville, NY), 27-2, in a non-league match.
The Red Devils (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, NY). The Knights go into the Section 1 Conference 1 - B match with a 6-8 record. In their last match, Mount Vernon gained a win over Woodlands (Hartsdale, NY), 21-7, in a league match.
