The Mount Vernon Knights baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Peekskill Red Devils to 0 in the Knights league victory on Friday.
The Knights (7-8) will now prepare for their match against East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley] (Spring Valley, NY). The Titans go into the Section 1 Freelance match with a 1-8 record. In their last match, East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley] was overwhelmed by Poughkeepsie (Poughkeepsie, NY), 7-4, in a league match.
The Red Devils (2-4) will now prepare for their match against East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley] (Spring Valley, NY). The Titans go into the Section 1 Freelance match with a 2-8 record.
