Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lake Mead Academy Eagles (Henderson, NV), 13-0 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 19-9 record. They take the field next when they host Democracy Prep Agassi Campus for a 2A- Southern challenge on Friday, April 29. Needles will face a Blue Knights squad coming off a 21-0 league loss to Laughlin (Laughlin, NV). The Blue Knights record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Lake Mead Academy falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Laughlin (Laughlin, NV) to face the Cougars in a 2A- Southern challenge on Friday, April 29. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 11-10. Laughlin won 21-0 in their recent league challenge against Democracy Prep Agassi Campus (Las Vegas, NV)
