Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lake Mead Academy Eagles (Henderson, NV), 24-5 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 19-9 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Mead Academy for a 2A- Southern challenge on Wednesday, April 27. Needles will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 19-2 league win over Calvary Chapel Christian (Las Vegas, NV). The Eagles record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Lake Mead Academy falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Needles (Needles, CA) to battle the Mustangs in a 2A- Southern challenge on Wednesday, April 27. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 17-9. Needles won 16-0 in their recent league challenge against White Pine (Ely, NV)
