The Hopewell Vikings softball team (Aliquippa, PA), was routed 12-5 in Thursday's league test with the visiting Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA)

Coming up next, the Warriors clash with the Beaver Falls Tigers (Beaver Falls, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 2 test, on Monday, May 1. Mohawk Area will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 1-5 record after their 18-0 league loss to Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA).

The Vikings (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA). The Quakers come into the WPIAL 3A 2 test with a 1-3 record.
