South Webster Jeeps (South Webster, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH), 4-1 in a league challenge.

The Jeeps now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Raceland for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 2. South Webster will face a Rams squad coming off a 11-7 non-league win over Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Rams record now stands at 11-6.

With the loss, Northwest falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Mohawks travel to Canton South (Canton, OH) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 1. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 7-5. Canton South won 12-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Fairless (Navarre, OH)
