Trico Pioneers (Campbell Hill, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Steeleville Warriors (Steeleville, IL), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Pioneers now sport a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnston City for a Black Diamond West challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Trico will face a Indians squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Frankfort (West Frankfort, IL). The Indians record now stands at 21-5.

With the loss, Steeleville falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Marissa/Coulterville (Marissa, IL) to face the Meteors in a Cahokia - Kaskaskia challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Meteors enter the challenge with a record of 12-6. Marissa/Coulterville won 9-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Okawville (Okawville, IL)
