The Bellevue Redmen softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Perkins Pirates to 11 in the Redmen non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Bellevue moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Redmen host Perkins (Sandusky, OH) to play the Pirates in a non-league game on Monday, May 2. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 8-2.
In their next game, the Pirates play the Ontario Warriors (Mansfield, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 30. Perkins will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record.
