In Monday's non-league contest, the Bellevue Redmen (Bellevue, OH) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Perkins Pirates (Sandusky, OH), by a margin of 17-6.
With the triumph, Bellevue moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Redmen travel to Vermilion (Vermilion, OH) to play the Sailors in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 5. The Sailors come into the contest with a record of 0-3.
In their next game, the Pirates play the Clyde Fliers (Clyde, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 6. Perkins will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record.
