The Anaconda Copperheads routed the host Powell County Wardens softball squad by a final score of 24-5 in Thursday's league bout.

The Copperheads (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Powell County (Deer Lodge, MT). The Wardens go into the B District 6B bout with a 0-9 record. In their last bout, Powell County was routed by Ennis (Ennis, MT), 20-1, in a league bout.

The Wardens now possess a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Ennis for a C District 11/12 bout on Monday, May 2. Powell County will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Thompson Falls (Thompson Falls, MT). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-1.
