California High School Softball - Southwest EC tipped by Palo Verde Valley

The Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets softball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Southwest EC Eagles to 2 in the Yellow Jackets league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Palo Verde Valley advances its record to 6-14 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host Calipatria (Calipatria, CA) to meet the Hornets in a Desert battle on Tuesday, May 2. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 6-8. Calipatria lost 20-1 in their recent league battle against Imperial (Imperial, CA)

The Eagles now sport a 9-14 record. They play next when they host Olympian for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 29. Southwest EC will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 15-5 league win over Sweetwater (National City, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-11.
