Spectators at Monday's league test between the Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) and the host Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM), witnessed Artesia's baseball team knock off Lovington by a count of 12-2.

The Bulldogs now own a 17-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goddard for a 4A District 4 test on Thursday, May 1. Artesia will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 5-2 league win over Portales (Portales, NM). The Rockets record now stands at 11-11.

With the defeat, Lovington drops to 11-12 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Portales (Portales, NM) to clash with the Rams in a 4A District 4 test on Thursday, May 1. The Rams go into the test with a record of 3-14. Portales lost 5-2 in their recent league test against Goddard (Roswell, NM)
