Fans at Monday's league test between the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) and the visiting Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC), witnessed Marvin Ridge's lacrosse squad top Parkwood by a count of 23-3.

The Mavericks (14-2) will now prepare for their test against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Charlotte Catholic thwarted Hoggard (Wilmington, NC), 16-9, in a non-league test.

Next, the Wolf Pack battle the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 29. Parkwood will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the test with a 2-13 record after their 14-7 non-league win over Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC).
