In Monday's league outing, the host Hayesville Yellowjackets soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats.

The Yellowjackets (2-8) will now prepare for their outing against Highlands (Highlands, NC). The Highlanders go into the Smoky Mountain 1A outing with a 5-6 record. In their last outing, Highlands got by Cherokee (Cherokee, NC), 4-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bobcats confront the Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A outing, on Tuesday, May 6. Blue Ridge Early College will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record.
