Fans at Monday's non-league test between the Wake Prep Academy Guardians (Wake Forest, NC) and the visiting South Garner Titans (Garner, NC), witnessed Wake Prep Academy's lacrosse squad hold off South Garner by a count of 7-6.

The Guardians (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Voyager Academy (Durham, NC). The Vikings enter the Triangle North/Northern Lakes Athletic test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Voyager Academy nipped Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC), 12-8, in a league test.

Next, the Titans battle the Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC) in a Greater Neuse River test, on Friday, May 2. South Garner will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Rams enter the test with a 6-9 record after their 9-8 league win over Garner (Garner, NC).
