The Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves (Winfield, IA), 9-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Nikes now hold a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Highland for a SE IA Super challenge on Thursday, May 1. Notre Dame will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Central Lee (Donnellson, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Winfield-Mt. Union moves to 3-6 on the year. The Wolves host Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA) to encounter the Ravens in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Ravens go into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Hillcrest Academy won 11-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Keota (Keota, IA)
