Ohio High School Softball - Steele sneaks past Avon

The Steele Comets softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Avon Eagles to 2 in the Comets league win on Monday.

The Comets now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Avon Lake for a Southwestern battle on Tuesday, April 29. Steele will confront a Shoremen team coming off a 21-2 league loss to North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH). The Shoremen record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Avon moves to 9-8 on the season. The Eagles host Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH) to confront the Shoremen in a Southwestern battle on Wednesday, April 30. The Shoremen come into the battle with a record of 4-9. Avon Lake won 11-9 in their recent league battle against Steele (Amherst, OH)
