The New Providence Pioneers baseball team (New Providence, NJ), was tipped 4-3 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ)
The Crusaders now hold a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glen Ridge for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 30. Johnson will confront a Ridgers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Belleville (Belleville, NJ). The Ridgers record now stands at 6-7.
Next, the Pioneers confront the Cranford Cougars (Cranford, NJ) in a Union County - Watchung outing, on Thursday, May 5. New Providence will attempt to advance on its 14-9 season record. The Cougars go into the outing with a 19-4 record after their 6-5 league win over Johnson (Clark, NJ).
