The Roosevelt Roughriders baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Ron Brown Monarchs to 2 in the Roughriders league victory on Friday.
Coming up next, the Roughriders play the Cardozo Clerks (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA battle, on Saturday, April 30. Roosevelt will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Clerks enter the battle with a 5-6 record after their 10-7 league loss to McKinley Tech (Washington, DC).
The Monarchs now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cardozo for a DCIAA battle on Monday, May 2. Ron Brown will play a Clerks squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Roosevelt (Washington, DC). The Clerks record now stands at 5-7.
