In Friday's league outing, the visiting Apollo Ridge Vikings softball team scored a nice 16-1 win over the Jeannette Jayhawks.

Coming up next, the Vikings battle the Brentwood Spartans (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 2 outing, on Monday, May 2. Apollo Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Spartans enter the outing with a 2-3 record after their 15-0 league win over Jeannette (Jeannette, PA).

The Jayhawks (0-12) will now prepare for their outing against Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA). The Rebels enter the WPIAL 2A 2 outing with a 7-3 record. In their last outing, Seton LaSalle ran past Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA), 10-1, in a league outing.
