The Ashbrook Greenwave softball team (Gastonia, NC), was routed 19-1 in Friday's league test with the visiting South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC)
Coming up next, the Red Raiders encounter the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a Big South 3A test, on Tuesday, May 3. South Point will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 12-9 record after their 4-1 league loss to Crest (Shelby, NC).
The Greenwave (1-13) will now prepare for their test against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers come into the Big South 3A test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Kings Mountain was routed by Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC), 7-6, in a league test.
