In Friday's league contest, the Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) softball team overwhelmed the host Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA), by a margin of 16-2.
With the triumph, Fort Defiance moves its record to 13-0 on the year. The Indians host Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Monday, May 2. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 3-7.
