The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Searsport Vikings (Searsport, ME) and the host George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME), saw Searsport's softball squad nip George Stevens Academy by a count of 8-3.
The Vikings now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mattanawcook for a non-league match on Monday, May 2.
With the loss, George Stevens Academy falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Bucksport (Bucksport, ME) to face the Golden Bucks in a Class C North match on Monday, May 2. The Golden Bucks enter the match with a record of 3-0.
