In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Searsport Vikings (Searsport, ME) softball team overwhelmed the visiting George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME), by a margin of 9-2.

With the triumph, Searsport moves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Vikings travel to Valley (Bingham, ME) to play the Cavaliers in a Class D South contest on Saturday, May 21. The Cavaliers come into the contest with a record of 9-1. Valley won 31-2 in their recent league contest against Temple Academy (Waterville, ME)

In their next game, the Eagles play the Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME) in a Class C North contest, on Friday, May 20. George Stevens Academy will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Golden Bucks come into the contest with a 11-1 record after their 9-2 league win over Sumner (East Sullivan, ME).
