Oregon High School Softball - South Medford nudges Sheldon

South Medford Panthers (Medford, OR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR), 3-2 in a league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Roseburg for a 6A Southwest challenge on Tuesday, May 2. South Medford will battle a Indians squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to South Salem (Salem, OR). The Indians record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Sheldon falls to 18-1 on the campaign. The Irish travel to South Eugene (Eugene, OR) to battle the Axe in a 6A Southwest challenge on Tuesday, May 2. The Axe enter the challenge with a record of 2-10.
