Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting South Medford Panthers (Medford, OR), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Irish now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Medford for a 6A Southwest challenge on Wednesday, April 5.

With the loss, South Medford falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Crater (Central Point, OR) to face the Comets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Comets enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. Crater lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Barlow (Gresham, OR)
