Spectators at Monday's league battle between the West Genesee Wildcats (Camillus, NY) and the host Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets (Manlius, NY), saw West Genesee's baseball squad knock off Fayetteville-Manlius by a count of 10-3.

Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Baldwinsville Bees (Baldwinsville, NY) in a Section 3 SCAC Metro battle, on Wednesday, May 1. West Genesee will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Bees enter the battle with a 8-3 record after their 9-1 non-league win over East Syracuse-Minoa (East Syracuse, NY).

The Hornets now possess a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Henninger for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 30. Fayetteville-Manlius will play a Black Knights squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Oswego (Oswego, NY). The Black Knights record now stands at 1-7.
