With the win, West Genesee betters its record to 13-7 on the season.

With the defeat, Fayetteville-Manlius falls to 10-7 on the season. The Hornets travel to Baldwinsville (Baldwinsville, NY) to encounter the Bees in a Section 3 SCAC Metro challenge on Friday, May 17. The Bees come into the challenge with a record of 14-4. Baldwinsville lost 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY)
