The Woonsocket Villa Novans held off the host Cranston West Falcons volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.

The Villa Novans now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Providence for a non-league test on Thursday, May 2. Woonsocket will confront a Townies team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Westerly (Westerly, RI). The Townies record now stands at 9-2.

The Falcons (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Barrington (Barrington, RI). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Barrington was nudged by Central (Providence, RI), 2-0, in a non-league test.
