Rhode Island High School Volleyball - Cranston East over La Salle Academy

Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Thunderbolts clash with the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) in a Division 1 (State) match, on Wednesday, May 1. Cranston East will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Skippers come into the match with a 15-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI).

With the loss, La Salle Academy drops to 8-3 on the campaign. The Rams host East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI) to clash with the Avengers in a Division 1 (State) match on Wednesday, May 1. The Avengers come into the match with a record of 3-7. East Greenwich won 3-0 in their recent league match against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI)
