Indian Lake Lakers (Lewistown, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Lakers now own a 18-2 record. They take the field next when they host Shawnee for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 1.

With the loss, Shawnee falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Benjamin Logan (Bellefontaine, OH) to battle the Raiders in a Central Buckeye - Mad River challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 9-2. Benjamin Logan won 6-1 in their recent league challenge against North Union (Richwood, OH)
