North Carolina High School Baseball - New Hanover edges West Brunswick

The New Hanover Wildcats baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host West Brunswick Trojans to 5 in the Wildcats league win on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now own a 13-9 record. They take the field next when they host Hoggard for a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Thursday, May 1. New Hanover will play a Vikings team coming off a 2-1 league win over Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 7-16.
With the defeat, West Brunswick drops to 8-13 on the year. The Trojans travel to South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to play the Cougars in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Thursday, May 1. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 8-14. South Brunswick lost 4-2 in their recent league test against Ashley (Wilmington, NC)
