Telluride Miners (Telluride, CO) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Montrose Red Hawks (Montrose, CO), 16-2 in a league game.

With the victory, Telluride advances its record to 6-8 on the season. The Miners host Durango (Durango, CO) to play the Demons in a 4A Mountain West game on Saturday, May 3. The Demons come into the game with a record of 9-2. Durango won 12-3 in their recent non-league game against Liberty (Colorado Springs, CO)

The Red Hawks now sport a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aspen for a non-league game on Saturday, May 3. Montrose will play a Skiers team coming off a 20-9 league loss to Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO). The Skiers record now stands at 9-5.
