In Tuesday's league test, the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) lacrosse team the host Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC), by a count of 19-16.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a Mideastern test, on Friday, May 2. New Hanover will attempt to move on its 15-2 season record. The Cougars enter the test with a 6-8 record after their 9-8 league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC).

The Pirates (13-2) will now prepare for their test against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions enter the Mideastern test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, North Brunswick by Hoggard (Wilmington, NC), 16-1, in a league test.
